In celebration of L.I.E.S. Records 15 Year Anniversary, we have gone through our archives unearthing a trove of test pressings from 2010-2024 and compiled a special one of a kind "TEST PRESS BOX SET". for true fans and collectors of the label.
These box sets will be strictly limited to 50 worldwide.
For 125.00 USD.(not including shipping) you will receive nine L.I.E.S. Records test presses dating from 2010-2024, housed in a very custom stencil spray painted very DIY cardboard box (see attached photos).
Included in the box, in addition to the nine records will be, 1 exclusive L.I.E.S. Records 15 year anniversary slipmat (pictured) and a huge 33" x 22.75" black and white folded 15 year anniversary poster (also pictured).
The test presses in the boxes are selected at random and it is NOT guaranteed that you'll receive records you will actually like, as you know the wide scope of music the label has put out over the years. Also, test presses are not limited to L.I.E.S. releases, but also include some of our sublabels, like Russian Torrent Versions and even BW Records (Beau Wanzer's imprint). That said, these boxes aren't just thrown together, we have tried to make each selection varied and interesting.
Furthermore, since these are test presses there may be imperfections with some of the pressings, writing on the labels, random notes on the labels, writing on the jackets, scratched out matrixes, skips, poor sound, no info on labels... anything is possible. We let you know this as a general disclaimer so you know what you're buying into. Truth be told this is a very raw, DIY project and package, meant for hardcore fans of the label. That said, it's also a cool way to offer one of a kind items to our fans in bulk.
To stress further, if you buy this box and don't like what you recieved, don't mail us complaining!!! There are no refunds, no exchanges, you bought it and it's yours. What you do with the contents afterwards is your business. You have been warned.
Be sure and ship to a safe mailbox, home, ect, and track your package daily. We will not and cannot refund lost, stolen, missed packages and we are not responsible for any potential taxes you may incur. International shipping has turned into the wild west, so be aware.
With all of this said we sincerely appreciate your interest and support in the label through these last 15 years. Much has changed in this music world since we started, none of it for the better. Both running the label and being "artists", we've always tried to keep our heads down, do our own thing and stay true to our task which is releasing music we stand behind that we feel needs to be heard by the public. Very simple. No grandstanding, no back flips behind the dj booth, no bowing down to trends or empty causes... just full on, no bullshit, killer music by artists we want to support. Our music, our rules, our way. All of your support helps the label move forward another day and that's all we can ask for.
